The WessDel Apprentice will shadow Engineering & Manufacturing personnel on new & current projects, with the goal of applying their mechanical aptitude and self–starting attitude to learn required production processes.
Some immediate Manufacturing floor opportunities that they will engage in are:
- Metal part deburring
- Basic hardware installation
- Part Marking
- Other Duties as assigned
Along with this hands-on exposure, we anticipate they will be exposed to some administrative duties:
- Quality assurance
- Paperwork and general paperwork organization.
All of these jobs will be explained and taught with direct initial supervision, with the goal of being able to complete the work unsupervised in the future.

Job Requirements
INTERESTED APPLICANTS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:
WessDel works with Beryllium metal materials. These materials do pose Health and Safety constraints that are identified by OSHA. WessDel operates well within OSHA’s Guidelines. If employed you will receive all appropriate Health and Safety training and guidelines prior to moving to the manufacturing floor.

Skills/Experience Preferred
Critical Key Attributes:
• Mechanical Aptitude and interest is a must
• Basic Computer Skills with MS Office Products would be desirable
• Full Attention to detail – follow specific verbal/written direction without deviation
• Self-starter
• Reliable, on-time and respectful of team working environment

Compensation
$15.65 to start

7AM - 3PM M-F (somewhat Flexible)
