Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Reads blueprints, schematics and specifications or sample parts to determine verify dimensions and tolerances of received parts and finished product, sequence of operations;
- Performs mechanical assembly on production items;
- Performs calibration and / or product inspections based on prescribed standards;
- Assists in material and packaging processing;
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications;
- Confers with engineers and other production personnel to resolve machining or assembly problems.
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned;

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or vocational training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Technical aptitude. Experience using general hand tools. Knowledgeable in operating basic machine shop equipment, recommendable.
- Detail-oriented; with strong organizational skills; team player

Compensation
$16-18/hour
