Job Duties
Include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Issues raw material to employees/departments; manually pre-picks stock items from multi-level racking which are specified in work order documents, in advance of issuance to employee/department; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items issued.
- Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, part number, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for items received, and forwards to paperwork to purchasing department.
- Receives returned raw material stock items; inspects, determines suitability of material for restocking.
- Utilizes E2 computer terminal to properly account for issues, receipts of new materials and associated back orders; inputs essential data on all materials handled; adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard.
- Conducts weekly cycle counts of raw materials; assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.
- Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system.
- Performs material advises on processed jobs in a timely manner.
- Operates indoor and outdoor forklifts, and other necessary vehicles and equipment, to properly handle materials being received, issued, stocked, and picked.
- Submits monthly metric reports to Logistics Supervisor.
- Consistently displays a sense of urgency in meeting all deadlines and goals, keeping in mind that quality and timeliness are of paramount importance to management and our customers.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and work stations neat. Organize work area for orderliness at all times.
- Abides by all Company safety and health policies and procedures. Must use personal protective equipment if required.
- Follow all inspection procedures including double checks and filling out paperwork to track run times and losses.
- Aware of and conforms to ISO goals and objectives, and supports company ISO requirements.
- Aware of and actively participates in company’s continuous improvement philosophy.
- May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency
- Follows approved work instructions.
- Be ready and willing for anything that needs to be done.
- Strive for further training and advancement in company.
- Being punctual and good attendance is required.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety and hazardous material handling.
- Must be willing to work alternate shifts as required by work center load or customer needs (shifts: day, swing, graveyard, and weekend).

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5 years minimum experience in materials handling.
- Working knowledge of inventory control practices.
- Working knowledge of computer terminal operation.
- Considerable knowledge of hazards and safety precautions relating to equipment operation, loading and unloading of materials.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a rapidly changing set of objections.
- Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent
- MS Office skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and data collection.
